In The Region: Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine endorsed Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney last October. But DeWine says, after a lot of thought, he’s changed his mind. |
“Like a lot of people, I believed my friend, Rick Santorum, simply could not overcome Romney’s massive financial and organizational advantage. And even more importantly, I firmly believed Governor Romney had the best chance to beat President Barack Obama. I was wrong.”
DeWine is endorsing former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum. Dewine says he’s tired of Romney’s negative approach and he likes Santorum’s ideas. DeWine, who served with Santorum in the U.S. Senate, says he believes Santorum inspires America’s better angels. |
