All the polls closed on time in Cuyahoga County with the expected glitches and lawsuits.

Elections director Jane Platten praised her staff, the 8500 temporary poll workers and the voters

for making the election a success so far.  The hundreds of thousands of paper ballots still

need to be counted.  Platten says turnout was probalby around 57%, not the 80% expected.
