live over the radio at 89.7 and through repeater stations
in Wooster, Thompson, New Philadelphia and Norwalk. Weekdays,
enjoy NPR and classical music, with folk music and shows

on weekends.
News Channel
WKSU 2 - The News Channel creates a full day of shows focused on news and information including stories from WKSU's award-winning newsroom aired during NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered while adding insight from programs like The World, Day to Day and news from the BBC.
Classical Channel
WKSU 3 - The Classical Channel offers music lovers a full day of symphonies and concertos, orchestras and string ensembles representing the spectrum of classical music with favorite WKSU hosts and other on-air personalities featuring music from Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky and other great composers.

Folk Alley is WKSU's 24-hour folk music stream, playing the best in folk, traditional, celtic and world music.

What Software Do I Need in Order to Listen?
You can tune-in online using one of the players listed at the right of the page. All can be downloaded for free. (RealNetworks offers a subscription plan and an enhanced player for which you need to pay a fee, but neither of these are required to listen to WKSU, the free version will do fine.)
We post all new on-demand content in Windows Media and RealPlayer formats. Some items are also posted in MP3 format. However, older archived content is only available in RealPlayer format and will require that player to listen.
The aacPlus streams, which provide excellent sound quality at very low bit rates, are supported by:
- Winamp version 5.08 or higher on Windows PCs.
- VLC on Mac, Linux/Unix, and Windows PCs.
For mobile cell phone streams, enter the given URL into your mobile device supporting 3GPP RTSP streaming. The Samsung MM A700, Samsung MM A700, Sanyo MM 7400, and Sanyo MM 5600 phones support mobile streaming. This technology is very new and still developing rapidly.
