Jim Blum Retirement Parties


After 31 years on WKSU Jim Blum is retiring and, even though he will continue to be a presence on FolkAlley.com and in the WKSU archives, he is taking this opportunity to get together with folk fans across the region. Please help Jim celebrate folk music and the folk community in Northeast Ohio at two very special events!

Receptions (open house) are being planned in various locations and listeners are invited:

  • Saturday 12/29 at The Wildcat Ranch, 9437 Shepler Church Rd, Navarre, OH 6 PM – midnight. Call (330) 639-5113 for information. Some food provided, Potluck, BYOB, BYOI (instruments) no gifts.
  • Saturday 1/26/13 at The Lodge at The Rookery, 10110 Cedar Rd, Munson Township, OH (access from Auburn Rd, NOT rt. 306) 4 PM – 11 PM. Potluck, BYOB, BYOC (chair), BYOI (instruments) no gifts.
