Originally from Louisiana, Buddy Guy began learning guitar on a two-string diddley bow he made. He later went on to become a pioneer of the Chicago Blues sound. Guy was also ranked 30th on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” and has been an influence to some of the most acclaimed musicians of his generation, including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
