Pre-sale tickets available for Bill Maher at E.J. Thomas Hall

For the last eighteen years, Bill Maher has set the boundaries of where funny, political talk can go on American television. Now, the political satirist and topical comedian comes live to Akron.

Live Nation presents Bill Maher at The University of Akron's E.J. Thomas Hall on Sunday, Nov. 11. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 21 at 11 a.m., but WKSU listeners can purchase seats early this Thursday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Use the code WKSU to buy tickets through Ticketmaster through this link during presale hours.

First on Politically Incorrect, and for the last seven years on HBO's Real Time, Maher's combination of unflinching honesty and big laughs have garnered him twenty-one Emmy nominations. In October of 2008, this same combination was on display in Maher's uproarious and unprecedented swipe at organized religion, Religulous. The documentary has gone on to become the 7th Highest Grossing Documentary ever.
