WKSU goes to The Ohio Light Opera

Stop by and say "hello!" at a special reception between Ohio Light Opera's matinee premiere of A Connecticut Yankee, which begins at 2 p.m. and Guys and Dolls, which begins at 7:30 p.m. at Freedlander Theatre at The College of Wooster.

For directions and more information, visit The Ohio Light Opera's website.

A Connecticut Yankee
Rodgers and Hart meeting Mark Twain was an enticing pairing indeed. The Ohio Light Opera proudly introduces Rodgers and Hart to its repertoire with their scintillating 1927 musical, A Connecticut Yankee, based on Mark twain's 1889 fantasy novel.

Guys and Dolls
No American musical has garnered more unanimously glowing accolades than the 1950's musical, Guys and Dolls. The Music, lyrics and book bristle with the plot, which incorporates the seedy street life of New York City, youthful love and family adversities.

Here is a clip from one of last year's productions, The Pirates of Penzance
