Celebrate the power of art as Parade the Circle marches around Wade Oval in Cleveland's University Circle on Saturday, June 14.
At noon, The Cleveland Museum of Art presents Parade the Circle - a unique art-centric collection of
people-powered floats, colorful marching units, stiltwalkers, world music and much more
(no engines, advertising, or propaganda allowed!). As the CMA's renovation and expansion
project progresses, this year's parade will begin and end at the Cleveland Museum of Natural
History - traveling clockwise around Wade Oval. The central theme for this year's parade is
"Running the Muse, Skipping the Fiddle."
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., University Circle Incorporated presents Circle Village, a collection
of family-friendly activities, performances, music and food sponsored by University Circle
member organizations. Participating groups offering activities include: the American Heart
Association, the Children's Museum of Cleveland, Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio, Invest
in Children, Cleveland.com, the Cleveland Botanical Garden, the Cleveland Hearing & Speech
Center, the Cleveland Institute of Art, the Cleveland Institute of Music, Lake View Cemetery,
