 MerleFest offers a generation and genre crossing mix of traditional and contemporary roots music, bringing together the very best of bluegrass, contemporary acoustic, Celtic, blues, folk, old-time, Cajun, jazz, and singer-songwriter musics, along with traditional dance and crafts.
MerleFest 2008 will take place on April 24–27* on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina**.
The Contest
To enter, simply write a paragraph (250 words or less) explaining why you think you should win the tickets! The more innovative the explanation, the better your chances are of winning!

A panel of judges will independently review and rank the responses and the winner will be chosen by consensus.

** Winner must provide own transportation & lodging/camping
