WKSU's Homegrown Saturday Mornin'

Every Saturday morning from 9am to 2pm from June 12—Sept. 25, 2004 (except Sat., July 3). Rain or shine! Free admission! Special weekly WKSU prizes!

Lock 3 Live! FirstEnergy StageVisit downtown Akron all summer long for music, food, and fun as Lock 3 Live! returns with WKSU’s Homegrown Saturday Mornin’ and a reimagined concert series in the heart of the city.

Last year, the inaugural Homegrown Saturday Mornin’ market offered the Northeast Ohio community a weekly opportunity to purchase vegetables, baked goods, art and more from local vendors. On June 12, Homegrown launches another four months of produce, plants, cheese, coffee, breads, clothing, crafts and more. Each Saturday from 9am to 2pm, area farmers, specialty grocers, bakers, artists and craftspeople set up shop in Akron’s newest entertainment venue—Lock 3 Live!, located next to the Akron Civic Theatre. Stop by the WKSU booth and say hello (listen to WKSU for announcements about special weekly prizes).

Admission to WKSU’s Homegrown Saturday Mornin’ is free. Lock 3 Live! parking is free in the O’Neil’s, Landmark and Cascade parking decks.

Saturday evenings, Lock 3 Live! plays host to exciting concert events featuring nationally known headliners and local favorites. Visit www.lock3live.com for a complete list of performers.
