Having walked parts of The Cotswolds and travelled extensively in my native New Zealand I bridled unreservedly when I heard Pennell's attempt at exultation of the former. Nothing but an unreservedly apology, not necessarily to New Zealanders but certainly to the god of misplaced hyperbole, will now suffice.
