For the past 2 years Nonclassical, founded by Gabriel Prokofiev, has hosted a regular monthly club night (first Wednesday of every month) at the Macbeth pub in Hoxton, London. The events have hosted artists that range from string quartets, home-made electronic performers and pianists to ensembles such as the Juice Vocal ensemble and the Ossian Ensemble. The Nonclassical events are a chance for performers & composers to reach a new younger, alternative audience rather than the typical 'contemporary classical' that people have come to expect.
