Kevin Niedermier
Reporter/Producer
 Kevin was raised in New Washington in rural North Central Ohio (not on a farm, but close). He attended Bowling Green State University and Ashland College (now Ashland University) before beginning his career in commercial radio news. Kevin’s first radio job was as weekend reporter at WMAN in Mansfield. Soon after, he became news director at WCLW in Mansfield, followed by positions at WCPZ in Sandusky and WCPN in Cleveland. Kevin made the move to WKSU in 1990, where he currently operates WKSU’s Cleveland Bureau. He covered the Ohio Delegation at the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia and the Republican National Convention in New York in 2004. A former board member of the Ohio Associated Press, Kevin has won many local, state and national awards for his work, including a national Gabriel Award and being named reporter of the year by the Ohio Chapter of Society of Professional Journalists in 2004. He lives in the Cleveland suburb of South Euclid with his wife, Christine.
