WKSU ADDS AMANDA ROBBINS TO NEWS STAFF

WKSU has added Amanda Rabinowitz to the station's news staff as a general assignment Reporter/Producer. She will write and produce stories for local broadcasts of NPR's "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered," as well as WKSU's evening news magazine, "Your Way Home."

Rabinowitz comes to WKSU from WJER AM/FM in Dover. Originally from New Jersey, Rabinowitz moved to Dover while in high school. As a student at Ohio University, Rabinowitz worked at WOUB and served as assistant news director at WATH AM/WXTQ FM in Athens. She is currently working towards a master's degree in Communications at The University of Akron. Rabinowitz volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters and enjoys traveling and tennis.

WKSU broadcasts NPR & Classical Music at 89.7 FM, and is a service of Kent State University. WKSU programming is also heard on WKRW 89.3 FM in Wooster, WKRJ 91.5 FM in Dover-New Philadelphia, WKSV 89.1 FM in Thompson, WNRK 90.7 in Norwalk, and W298BA 107.5 in Boardman.
